Just took these out of the oven a few minutes ago but haven’t served them yet. I don’t think any will be coming home with me. Shouldn’t review a recipe if you altered it but I only had 8 ounces of parm so added 8 of sharp cheddar. It’s a good substitution. I think I’ll try it with pepperjack too. One cup of panko was plenty. I would personally go with a little more jalapeño or add chili powder to the cheese mixture. My food processor was out so I mixed the dough in that. I’ll use it again but will keep my cream cheese in the refrigerator instead of room temp. That might eliminate the extra half hour it took to firm the dough up to make it easier to handle.

These were a hit at Bunko party. I thought there was too Much Parmesan cheese. I used Italian seasoned Panco crumbs…the seasoning didn’t go well. I’ll try them again with a little more spice.

These were okay, but I would change a few things. Need more seasoning and I would use panko next time. I did use cheddar instead of parmesan, so I didn’t follow the recipe exactly.

These are so good! Easy to make. I used 5 tblspns of jalapeños.  Served with a drizzle of ranch on top – or on the side for dipping.  Great appetizer – will be making these a lot!

These taste great! Don’t make them too big or they will probably be too soft. I used 2 jalapeños which equaled about the 4 tblsp called for but I think I might add one more next time. But 3 cups of bread crumbs is way too much. Start with one cup and add more if needed.

Took these to work for a Super Bowl potluck. Made recipe as written except used a combo of jalapeno & serrano peppers and panko bread crumbs (because that’s what I had on hand). Turned out great! Coworkers really liked them; it’s a nice mid-level heat that appealed to the majority. (For my family, I would bump up the heat a bit with some cayenne &/or more minced peppers because we like spicy-er.) Overall, this was a hit and I will definitely make again. 🙂

Tip: If the mix is too soft/sticky to roll, throw it in the fridge for a bit to firm it up, then roll. No need to flatten – they spread out as the bake.

This was not very good. Too cheesy and too soft.
