I had to add more sugar for my taste and I left out the espresso since I never have it in my house. It was delicious!

When you say, reheat, how hot should it be reheated to?

Can you place this in the fridge and reheat the leftovers?

The BEST HOT CHOCOLATE RECIPE EVER! This is such a comforting, sweet treat that my whole family loves – even my dad, who never drinks hot chocolate. It is also great because it makes a lot, so everyone is welcome to seconds! It’s perfect for cold nights or just a little something to make you feel better after a hard day. Go make it!

Fabulous hot chocolate!! I made it in advance for a cookie party at work. I poured it into milk cartons (2 half gallon containers) so it would be easy to take to the office. But the chocolate basically turned into a solid overnight. Has this happened to anyone? I hope I can get it back to a liquid before the cookie party.

This was delicious! Has anyone ever tried making it the crock pot to keep it warm longer?

This was my first time trying without powder hot chocolate and I have to say the taste was very different. I modified the recipe to just using 2 cups of whole milk, approximately 3.5 oz of bittersweet chocolate (Ghrirardelli), nescafe instant coffee powder and 3 teaspoons of sugar. I did not have vanilla extract so I did not add it. Even for chocolate lover like myself, it was tasty but very chocolatey! I had to dilute it with more milk so I added 1/2 cup of the chocolate mixture and 1/2 cup of just plain whole milk. Gave it a better taste and was a little less heavy. I will definitely agree that it tastes much better than the regular instant cocoa powder mixture that you get from the supermarket. This is the type of hot chocolate you want to drink on special occasions only because of the amount of fat content.
