I enjoyed these.  The orange sauce was an unexpected pairing but very delicious.

Since I started making this recipe, every time I am invited to a fish fry, this is what they ask me to bring. BIG HIT!

Don’t waste your time or money! I read several of the reviews prior to selecting this recipe. I don’t know what everyone else was eating, but the hush puppies were very very bland. I’m not sure why there is sauce with hush puppies, therefore I did not make it. Maybe I should have made the sauce; it may have added some much needed flavor.

Better than hush puppies served in restaurants! These were moist and tasty, just the right amount of flavor. I followed the recipe exactly, except did not add the jalapeño, so if you like things a little hotter, then by all means add it. I did not make the dipping sauce, so I can’t speak to that one. The hush puppies were great on their own.

These were delicious, I added 1/2 teaspoon of seafood seasoning because i was going to eat them with crab and I didn’t have the yeloow corn flouer so I used the white and it was delicious.
Thanks,

Meh. This was my first attempt at scratch made corn fritters. I’m gluten intolerant so the frozen kind at the grocery store are out. I sort of feel like others that these really lacked flavor, and I used an ENTIRE jalapeno. Hubby said the same thing. They weren’t bad, but they weren’t great either. However, they were super simple. I’ll probably use another recipe next time though.

Just made a batch of these. Light, fluffy and full of flavor. This is definitely my go to hush puppy recipe!

I’ve tried MANY hush puppy recipes and this one by FAR is the best! Easy and delicious! Not too spicy either! My 7 year old couldn’t get enough!

Loved it, loved it, loved it! Only change I made was to use the whole jalepeno instead of 1/2. Still not too spicy. This is my only recipe I will use for hush puppies ever again!
