Reviews
A stunningly simple sauce that I make every time we have prime rib. I’ve turned on a lot of people to this sauce, and everyone loves it!
On a personal note, this will always remind me of my mother. Her and I saw the episode, and a few weeks later, we looked it up online, and with my laptop, I would have my 83 year old mother read me off the ingredients as I made the sauce…and then we watched the video of the show together to make sure we did everything correctly. My wife had a good laugh that we double checked our work.
I am a fantastic cook because of my mother, and whenever I could, since I was a child, I cooked with her and got as many family recipes as I could get from her as she got older, and wrote them all down. Some of the fondest memories of being with my mother are that of us cooking together.
I will always think of my dear mother when I make this, as it was also the last time we cooked together. I love & miss you Mom.
