Reviews
Awesome. Used fresh squeezed red grapefruit juice and added the mint leaf. It was fabulous!
I didn’t add mint, served over ice, everybody loved it.
Kind of taste like a “Salty Dog” or “Greyhound” cocktail. Needs some lime to give it some Margarita character. I didn’t have the lime but added some Limeade concentrate and that seemed to help push it in the right direction. Rub the rim of the glass with sliced grapefruit and then dip in sugar.
We made them blended at first and they were too watery. The recipe as written is much better – on the rocks. The only change I would make is to put a sprig of mint in the glass as my husband complained about the little pieces of mint (but I liked it that way).
I think this is the best margarita I have ever had. Thanks for the recipe Rachel!
Sorry Rachel your popular enough!! I don’t tell them half of what I cook is yours. I like to be popular too!! I made this drink for a brunch I had at the lake and I was a hit again. Keep it up so I can. (Our Secret)
Very refreshing. A tad bit sweet with a tart ending. Thank-you for another great recipe rachel.
