I added 1 dried habanero to the mix and didn’t change anything else. It was awesome! Next time I am going to add more habaneros and double the batch because it didn’t last long in my house.

I also didn’t strain it.

Just needs to be alittle hotter for me.
Other than that it is a good starter, and I add more chiles for a more hotter sauce.

This is a “keeper” of a recipe! I did tweek it by adding more garlic and had a string of homegrown, dried peppers to use. This is easy and one can very the experience by the type and quantity of peppers used. By the way,
I elect NOT to strain it! Love the texture too! *****

MADE THIS SAUCE THE OTHER NIGHT AND IT WAS SO SIMPLE,TASTE AS GOOD AS ANY STORE BOUGHT HOT SAUCE.
I COULDN’T FIND CAYENNE PEPPERS,SO I USED DRIED CHILI DE ARBOL AND I DIDN’T HAVE ANY CHEESE CLOTH SO AFTER BLENDING, I USED A SMALL STRAINER AND A MORTAR TO SMASH ALL THE JUICE OUT AND LEAVE THE PULP BEHIND.CHILLED IT OVERNIGHT AND SERVED IT ON TOP OF HUVEOS RANCHEROS FOR BREAKFAST-YUMMY-
SHOULD BE HOTTER WITH CAYENNE PEPPERS
