Ingredients
- 2 3/4 cups cornmeal
- 3 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 1/2 cups sour cream
- 3/4 cup milk
- 4 eggs
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 cup melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
- Mix together corn meal, flour, baking powder, sour cream, milk, eggs, salt and melted butter. Bake in a greased large loaf pan for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown and when a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.

This is my go to cornbread , but I only use three cups of flour and one cup of milk and more oil.
okay if you don’t like moist sweet cornbread
Bread was very heavy and bland. Needs some sugar.
