God coffee in everything
Really good quick chocolate sauce. Will make again. I didn’t feel it was too sweet or too bitter – so like anything, everyone has their preferences and you can adjust accordingly.
Such a great sauce! It firms up on ice cream beautifully!
Delicious
So easy and so much better than Hersheys. I added a bit more honey because the kids and I like our chocolate a little less bitter. This recipe makes a lot of chocolate sauce and I could have down with halving it. I poured the rest in a cup and but it in the fridge, not sure what else to do with it. It turned into this yummy fudge that I’m eating by the spoonful and spreading on bananas. Ina is MARVELLOUS
This chocolate sauce was a hit with the family! My husband had it over cinnamon ice cream and loved it! It was super easy and I was able to get my 5 year old involved (she helped measure ingredients and smashed the peanuts in a sandwich bag. We put it over ice cream right away and it did harden, so next time we will try to wait before pouring on to allow it to cool. It makes quite a bit and I see one reviewer said it keeps well in the fridge, otherwise preparing half of the recipe would have easily worked for our family of 3. The honey gave it a pretty gloss so it would make a nice presentation for company.
We can’t stop eating this chocolate sauce!! THis recipe is so easy and so good!
I think I found my new little secret to have all the kids love to come to my house for ice cream parties this summer! Thanks!!
While the chocolate sauce is very easy to make, and the honey and coffee are nice additions to round out the flavor, I found this simply too sweet. I wonder if using chopped bittersweet chocolate instead of semisweet chips might resolve the “problem” for me. But with so many recipes to try and so litle time to try them, this is not one I’ll try again. Not a bad recipe, in fact it came out just as it should have per the directions, it’s just not a good fit for my palate.
Don’t pass this one up. I’ve served it several times and always get raves. It keeps forever in the refrig if you happen to actually have any left!
