Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  2. 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  3. 1 tablespoon capers
  4. 1 teaspoon crab boil seasoning (recommended: Old Bay)

Instructions

  1. Put all the ingredients into a bowl and whisk until well blended. Refrigerate until ready to serve. May be made 1 week in advance.

This tarter sauce was decent. I’m not a big fan of it but it looked so good on the show so I gave it a try with the lemon oregano calamari. The calamari came out great and the tarter sauce did not. It was made correctly but it still was not very good. The mayonnaise were very overwhelming.
