My family absolutely loves these sweet potatoes! I’ve been making them for years! Someone just requested the recipe today! My only tweak is that I cut down the sugar to about a cup. Yum!
Quite possibly the nastiest dish I’ve ever cooked. I threw it out. A complete waste of time & money. I’m not a whiner, either. I’ve made many successful dishes using the Food Network’s recipes. This one wasn’t one of them.
Made this for thanksgiving and it was great I baked the potatoes the night before which made the preparation easier I also added a little rum to the sauce I will probably make this dish every thanksgiving
I made this for Christmas and will be making it from now on.
I was looking for a recipe for sweet potato casserole
and I saw this one with the peach schnapps.
I brought it to a girls nite and it was a HIt!

Now its my favorite sweet potato recipe.
This was very good and will be a favorite of mine from now on.
I hate to be negative & I know from reading the reviews that some people had wonderful results with this recipe. I absolutely did not. I followed the directions carefully and it turned out completely soupy and just awful. If you want to try this recipe I would just caution you to have a “plan B” in case it doesn’t turn out correctly. On the bright side, the peach schnapps made a delightful after dinner drink.
I found this recipe three years ago and make it every year for Thanksgiving. Everyone loves it!!
The taste was great but for some reason it was kind of runny. I’m going to try i again and see where I went wrong.
The combination of flavors was unreal. It is totally unexpected! It’s a refreshing twists on an old thanksgiving staple.
