Fantastic. I used only 1 Tablespoon of sugar (does not need 1/4 cup and 1 Tablespoon of OJ instead of the liquor. Perfect amount of sweetness.
Awesome recipe. To the two fools who didn’t like it. If you don’t like a good berry why try it. Obviously you don’t. Thanks Rachel, it was great.
Since it’s only my hubby and I eating this, I made some modifications. I used a small container of b/berries and added 3Tbl water and a good Tbl sugar, pinch of cinnamon and squeeze of lemon. Let the mixuture come to a simmer and when thickened, poured over angel food cake and vanilla ice cream!!! This was dynamite, thanks for the base recipe.
This was awesome, but I didn’t add the orange liquer.
This was so delicious! I didn’t have a cinnamon stick so I used ground cinnamon & guestimated the amount. I also did not buy rasberries as the price was too much this week as were fresh blueberries. I used a 10 ounce frozen package of blueberries & sever medium to large ripe strawberries. We also do not drink alcohol & I used orange zest & one third orange juice squeezed from the zested area. It came out fantastic though & my husband is feeling so special but it was for me, well us… 🙂 Simple to do!
this is a great recipe that you can use almost any berries with.
Tody I tried some ice cream made by Racheal Ray and I thought it was absolutly delicious. And I plan on making it again maybe serve it at a party.
This recipe is too sweet.
