Ingredients

  1. 1 quart tomato puree
  2. 1 pint water
  3. 2/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
  4. 1/2 cup cider vinegar
  5. 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  6. 8 ounces finely chopped onion
  7. 4 tablespoons finely chopped garlic
  8. 2 ounces sugar
  9. 1 tablespoon dried mustard powder
  10. 2 teaspoons chili powder
  11. 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  12. Salt

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large stockpot and simmer over medium heat until flavors mix together.

I was not impressed by this recipe. It ended up quite heavy on the vinegar. I will probably not make this one again.

Fast, easy, and tasted great. I used ketchup instead of the tomato puree, but I think it still turned out great.
