The loose dried hibiscus blossoms used to make this traditional Egyptian hibiscus tea are steeped in the tea as it cools, giving it a robust flavor. Tea bags are inappropriate. During the month of Ramadan, we consume this tea to break our fast. To ensure that the sugar dissolves readily, be careful to sweeten the tea while it is still warm before serving it cold.

Reviews
really good
This was refreshing! It was not as strong as I’d like, so I think I’ll play with the water:hibiscus ratio next time.
