Ingredients
- 1/3 cup nonfat or low-fat plain Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup buttermilk
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 5 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
- 4 scallions, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 teaspoon chopped jalapeno
- 1/2 teaspoon chipotle powder
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
- One 14-ounce bag coleslaw mix
Instructions
- In a blender or mini food processor, combine the yogurt, buttermilk, mayonnaise, 3 tablespoons of the cilantro, half of the scallions, the garlic, jalapenos, chipotle powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt and a few grinds of pepper. Process until smooth.
- Put the coleslaw, the remaining 2 tablespoons cilantro and the remaining scallions in a large bowl. Add the dressing and toss to coat.

Very good and easy. VB has the best recipes on FN in my opinion.
This is a go to recipe with a few changes no dairy for me so I used dairy free plain yogurt with Hellmans but followed exactly great with fish tacos I made tacos using mahi-mahi. Added extra cilantro to top off and fresh avocado slices.

I had to do a few substitutions, but this recipe was phenomenal. (Sour cream instead of yogurt, dried cilantro, no buttermilk) is the best coleslaw I’ve ever had.
We really enjoyed this recipe. My husband loves anything with jalapenos and this had the flavor without too much heat.
Really good – put it on grilled bbq chicken sandwiches. Smoky, cool, crunchy. Whole fam ate it up!
