Ingredients

  1. Butter flavored cooking spray
  2. Granulated sugar
  3. 1/3 cup lime curd (recommended: Dickenson’s)
  4. 1 container (99g) fat-free vanilla pudding (recommended: Kraft Handi-Snacks)
  5. 4 egg whites
  6. Powdered sugar
  7. 2 thinly cut lime slices, halved, coated in granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Spray 4 (6-ounce) ramekins with butter flavored cooking spray. Lightly coat inside of ramekins with sugar; set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, stir together lime curd and vanilla pudding. Set aside.
  3. Place egg whites in a medium bowl. Use an electric mixer to beat egg whites to stiff, but not dry, peaks.
  4. Stir 1/4 of egg whites into bowl with lime mixture. Spoon mixture over bowl with egg whites and gently fold together until just combined.
  5. Divide among ramekins. Place on baking sheet and bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes or until risen and golden brown.
  6. Serve immediately garnished with a dusting of powdered sugar and half of a sugared lime slice.

This was sooo easy. I did add cream of tartar after reading all the reviews. It tasted wonderful, and puffed up perfectly. It beats all other souffle recipes since it is so quick and easy! Thanks Sandra Lee!

I dont think so i will make this again. At first when it came out of the oven i looked so nice ,but in few min it squized like a foam. When it comes out of the oven it is so hot you cannot eat it but after few min you dont like the look of it,.

Not sure why the other reviews for this recipe were bad. My 13 y/o daughter just made it and was great!…far beyond my expectations. Rose 3″ above the ramekin and was absolutely delicious. The only thing we did differently was to add cream or tartar to the egg whites while whipping.

I really hoped this recipe would pan out. I love souffles and wanted an easy way to make one. The only thing this recipe proved is that real souffles are definitely worth the work. It tasted like a strange lime pudding.

I noticed on the show that some were risen and some were not. Mine didn’t

and I was disappointed

By definition a soufle should puff up but this went nowhere. The packaged pudding was stale tasting and it is not a product I enjoy.
