Reviews
I made this for Sunday brunch and everyone LOVED it! The only changes I made were that I lightly buttered the bread before placing in the pan, and I used butter instead of Crisco; I just couldn’t bring myself to try it. But it went together quickly and like I said everyone really loved it. I will keep this one handy!
Crazy delicious but minus one star for it being not very healthy
I hate strata and my family wants me to make it every Christmas morning. Reluctantly, I made this one and viola! I loved it. Not too gushy and bready like many stratas; it had just enough bite from the chilies.
This is very easy and very yummy! I actually put all the ingredients together the night before and refridgerated it, then put it in the oven in the morning while I got ready for the day. Everyone loved it and had no hesitation going back for seconds! This is definitely one to try again, even for Christmas morning!
