My oldest son’s fav meal. I add a few dashes of Worcestershire Sauce and use beef broth in place of water. Lately I found adding one can of Cream of Mushroom soup makes the gravy extra creamy and delish for my family. Play around with this simple dish and add what sounds good.

This one is a winner! Very few ingredients but very flavorful and tastes more complex then one might think. I only made one change. I added some cubed portobello mushrooms with the onions, because I had them on hand. This one was easy and a crowd pleaser with mashed potatoes.

I’m in the middle of cooking it and so far so good. The gravy is great ( I used chicken broth in place of water).

So far it’s a hit.

First time I ever cooked something “smothered”..I added some more seasonings to the gravy while preparing, although the suggestions from other reviewers of adding some chicken broth might be my next move. I WILL be making this again..

The gravy was EXTREMELY bland. I even doctored it up w/ garlic and lots of pepper. NOT GOOD! Ruined the meal

Gravy kinda bland so I added some cayenne pepper and used chicken broth. Pork was very tender, served with wheat egg noodles.

. . .This dish is one of my wife’s favorites. I make this for her once a week, she loves it so much. I recommend mashed potatoes as the gravy is excellent for that too.

The gravy started off a little bland, but I added some extra salt and pepper, and it was fantastic. My family also loved it.

This recipe turned out very well for me. I added mushrooms with the onions for some more body in the gravy. Everything turned out great!
