  25. 1/4 teaspoon dried dill
  26. 1 tablespoon sliced fresh chives
  27. 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  28. 1 clove garlic, minced
  29. 1 1/2 cups paprika
  30. 3/4 cup sugar
  31. 3 3/4 tablespoons onion powder
  32. 2 cups ketchup
  33. 1 cup water
  34. 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  35. 5 tablespoons light brown sugar
  36. 5 tablespoons sugar
  37. 1/2 tablespoon fresh ground black pepper
  38. 1/2 tablespoon onion powder
  39. 1/2 tablespoon ground mustard
  40. 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  41. 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. For the dough:
  2. Place the yeast, warm water and honey in a small bowl and stir to dissolve. Add the olive oil and salt, stir to combine.
  3. Add the flour to the bowl of a standing mixer with a dough hook. Add the water, olive oil, salt and honey mixture. Mix on low for roughly three minutes, then increase to a medium speed and knead until the dough is elastic and starts to come away from the sides of the bowl, roughly 3 minutes. The dough should be smooth and firm. Ball up the dough and place in a large lightly oiled glass bowl. Flip to cover both sides of the dough with oil. Cover with a towel and let rise in a warm draft free area for 2 hours, until roughly doubled in bulk.
  4. Cut the dough into 4 equal pieces, smooth into a ball and let rest for 20 more minutes before cooking.
  5. For the pizza:
  6. Preheat grill to high heat. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  7. Heat a saute pan over medium heat. Add olive oil and saute onion, green bell pepper, garlic, salt and pepper until tender; about 3 minutes. Remove to a glass bowl.
  8. Flour work surface and roll out pizza dough into 4 (6-inch) circles, and 1/8 to 1/4-inch thick. Brush with olive oil and place on grill. Grill for about 3 minutes on the first side. Flip and cook for 1 more minute. Remove to a sheet tray and grill off the other dough balls, if using. Spread 1/4 cup of BBQ sauce evenly on each pizza. Add 1/2 cup of chopped pork and top with a quarter of the sauteed vegetables. Sprinkle with the cheeses. Repeat. Bake the pizzas in the oven for 10 minutes until the cheese is melted. Serve immediately.
  9. Mix in all the ingredients until smooth. Cover and chill for one hour to meld the flavors.
  10. Add all ingredients to a bowl and stir until combined. Keep in an airtight container for up to 6 months.
  11. In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients. Bring mixture to a boil, reduce heat to a simmer. Cook uncovered, stirring frequently, for 1 hour 15 minutes.

I loved these grilled pizzas but I did cut some corners in the interest of saving time.  I used dough from the bakery and used bottled BBQ sauce.  Definitely have to make the BBQ ranch sauce from scratch.

I do not understand how people can give a bad star rating if they never tried the recipe. Really? You put one star just because you don’t have time to make the recipe? There is a Quick & Easy link.

Made these with my kids and we had so much fun. I didn’t make their pizza dough, I thawed frozen Rhodes dough and added extra flour. It worked perfect. Didn’t think I had the time to make homemade dough. Will do next time though. Everything tasted so great. Added pickled jalapeno peppers for more flavor and spice. We had fun and loved the meal. I served it with their famous cole slaw. Love the Neeley’s!!

I cant comment on the dipping sauce because I didnt make any. Didnt think it needed it and i was right. This was my first time making pizza dough and it was very easy and very tastey. The BBQ was the best! Only made a couple of changes. Made it a tad sweeter, added garlic powder a little extra worcestershire sauce and a touch of Daves Insanity for heat. This is going to be my sauce from now on! We had our pizzas with bacon some chicken I grilled earlier, onion and fresh pineapple. It was SO good i cant wait to make it again. And to the person who thought it was too much stuff, you could have put the sauce to simmer or made the dough up in the time it took you to type your reveiw!

I made this for dinner tonight and it was super delicious and very satisfying. I did have to make a couple little changes to the recipe; first, I used a teaspoon of sugar in the dough instead of honey~ I don’t know if it’s our altitude, but my dough doesn’t rise well when I use honey….and I used our favorite jarred BBQ sauce to save time.

This made the best crust and the flavors were amazing! For anyone who needs to know, it seemed like there were a lot of veggies and meat….we really enjoyed the recipe as is though. Thank you Neely’s!

The pizza dough is so good! Extra work but so worth it. I did not need the dipping sause and it was excellent.

This is delicious. The pizza dough is perfect, and the bbq flavor with the fresh crisp veggies, wow! The right bbq sauce is the key, and as I live in the Memphis area, I was able to purchase the Neeley’s. Our family loved this recipe.

This was delicious. I used their BBQ chicken recipe one day and used the leftover chicken to make this pizza the next. Fantastic. The grill makes the pizza. Note; I did not make the dipping sauce but I’ll definitely make it the next time around as regular ranch just doesn’t do this pizza justice. Also if you make their BBQ chicken make extra BBQ sauce as there is not enough for both chicken and pizza. (The sauce is so good you’ll find yourself wanting a lot more of it.)
