Ingredients

  1. ¼ cup olive oil
  2. 2 tablespoons minced garlic, or more to taste
  3. 1 ½ cups 2% milk
  4. 1 teaspoon salt
  5. 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  6. 2 teaspoons water
  7. ½ teaspoon cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Add garlic, cook and stir until fragrant, 1 to 2 minutes. Add milk, salt, and pepper; stir constantly until simmering, about 2 minutes.
  2. Whisk water and cornstarch together in a bowl until smooth. Add water-cornstarch mixture to sauce; stir continuously until sauce is thickened to desired consistency, 3 to 5 minutes.
  3. Pour over your favorite noodles. I used wide egg noodles.

The flavor was ok, but it was just too watery as written. If you LOVE black pepper, you will like this, as it is very predominant (not bad, just strong).
