Tex-Mex and Indian cuisines are combined in this crowd-pleasing snack. You get the tandoori chicken’s flavor profile combined with the jalapeño popper’s flavor character, creating a distinctive flavor combination. This recipe makes plenty for a main dish as well as an appetizer for a tailgating or barbecue party in the garden. The poppers are supposed to be baked in this recipe, however you may also make them on the BBQ pit without any problems.

Ingredients

  1. 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  2. 1 clove garlic, crushed
  3. 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  4. ground black pepper to taste
  5. ¼ large baguette, sliced
  6. 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley, or to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat a grill to high heat.
  2. Mix together butter, garlic, Parmesan cheese, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Spread the butter mixture generously on the baguette slices.
  4. Place slices on the preheated grill and cook until butter is melted and bread is lightly brown, about 30 seconds.
  5. Sprinkle with parsley and serve immediately.
