This is one allrecipes, recipe that I did NOT like. I tasted it…that was all. I ended up only eating the side dishes that I made to accompany the pork chops. The smell was bad. I thought maybe as it cooked, it would be better but no. The pork chops were very tender. I wasted them on this recipe

Seriously so easy! Perfect for a hectic weeknight dinner! Added a sliced onion at the bottom or the pan. It was a little sweet for me – and not sure why since I don’t think Italian dressing is all the sweet but I might add some more pepper and even red pepper flakes next time! I would also use a little less dressing and the cook time for us/my chops was only 15 min with 5 min rest time. Served with broccoli and mashed potatoes. Would make again! Thanks for sharing SexySerina!

This was an ok recipe which I did make as written, but nothing that I will repeat.

Loved it, so tender. I put less pepper as I am not fond of to much pepper.

I marinaded the Pork Chops in the Italian Dressing & Soy Sauce for about an hour before cooking – they were Yummy!

Love this recipe I have a fussy husband who loves pork chops, but does not like breaded chops. I was so happy to find this recipe. My husband liked it Thanks Joe’s wife

Quick and good! I made this for my elderly Mom and sister. Both were very satisfied. And Left overs for today!

Made this per instructions. We found is quite “heavy” tasting, also too oily (maybe use light dressing). Won’t be trying again.

Dried out & way overcooked, I would try this with bone-in pork shoulder or sirloin STEAKS, but NEVER again with a nice lean boneless loin chop, those I cook on medium-high heat for 2 minutes first side 3 minutes 2nd side for 3/4″ inch thick chops. OR I cook the loin as a roast. Maybe use the ‘dressing’ as an overnight marinade, I’ve used this for tough beef steaks and they came out fairly good.

Super easy! I had five pork chops defrosted and needed a quick idea as I only had a partial afternoon to come up with dinner after a full day of errands. My marinade time had to be 90 minutes, tops. As other reviewers, I sauteed an onion and two fat garlic cloves, set them aside and seared the marinated chops. I then layered thinly sliced russet potatoes, some of the onions/garlic, the five chops, more onions/garlic and remaining marinade into my terra cotta covered baking dish. I baked them at 375 degrees (terra cotta calls for higher baking temps) for 90 minutes. I, too, had a vinegary aroma in my kitchen but it was not an overpowering taste on our palates. My hubby loved this recipe and it’s a keeper! The chops were really, really moist.

This was just pork chops swimming in a bottle of salty salad dressing. Why not marinate in Italian Dressing overnight, and add the remaining marinade to the pan with the meat? The pork chops would have been more flavorful and tender.

The chops came out great. However I did add a Tablespoon of ginger and I used bone in chops.

It was so delicious but I let my pork chops marinate in the dressing for less than an hour and then poured the sauce over it while cooking.

I’m amazed how good this was with so few ingredients! Easy, cheap, delicious – definitely a keeper.

I made this for my Grandson’s and they both liked them.

Made exactly as directed. It just didn’t have a yummy flavor as I expected. I feel like I wasted a bottle of Italian dressing.

I agree with several of the other people who tried it and mentioned the cooking odor. Tender chops, but not worth the horrible smell of them cooking. I don’t know what it was that smelled SO bad, but it ruined the meal for me, even though the chops tasted OK. Just OK, not worth the stench.

Very easy to prepare, but hubby did not care for it. No real taste to the sauce or meat. Guess I won’t be making it again.

We didn’t care for this at all. Strange tangy flavor, and I normally love meat marinated in Italian dressing. A waste of pork chops and a bottle of dressing, in my opinion.
Tara Smith
So easy and good! I used thin, boneless pork chops.
