Making this strawberry crisp takes only a few minutes. This dish is ideal for summer because strawberries are in season. If preferred, add ice cream or a dab of whipped cream to the top.

Ingredients

  1. 2 ½ cups diced fresh strawberries
  2. 3 tablespoons white sugar
  3. 1 ½ tablespoons cornstarch
  4. ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  5. ⅛ teaspoon salt
  6. ¼ cup quick-cooking oats
  7. ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  8. ¼ cup white sugar
  9. ¼ cup salted butter, cubed
  10. ⅛ teaspoon salt
  11. nonstick cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Place strawberries in a bowl and toss with 3 tablespoons sugar. Let sit until the juices release, 10 to 15 minutes. Stir in cornstarch, vanilla, and salt until combined; set aside.
  2. Combine oats, flour, sugar, butter, and salt for streusel in a bowl. Mix with your hands until crumbly and butter is in tiny bits.
  3. Preheat an air fryer to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray 4 individual-sized ramekins with nonstick spray.
  4. Divide strawberry mixture evenly among all 4 ramekins. Top with streusel, dividing evenly.
  5. Air fry in the preheated air fryer until streusel is golden brown, 10 to 12 minutes.
