Awesome! I followed the recipe without the nuts. Wonderful flavor and just the right amount of chocolate chips.
I’ve been using this recipe for years and i get so many compliments on it! its great, and easy to substitute gluten-free flour. its so delicious, that when i tell people its gluten free, they don’t believe me! i also skip the nuts due to allergies. its absolutely wonderful!
This was AMAZING!!!! My family loved!
Delicious and moist. Freezes well. Made this exactly to recipe.
This is hands down THE BEST zucchini bread I have ever made!!
My kids love this! I made a change to the sugar, though. I cut it by 1/3, and use a half white sugar/half light brown sugar mixture.
Yummy
I really enjoyed this recipe. It’s very filling. I’d like to try what many suggested as to using less oil and use applesauce. I’d definitely make this again as I always enjoy the fresh essence that zests give recipes.
Replaced 1 cup of oil with 1/2 cup applesauce, 1/4 cup oil and 3/4 cup ground flax seed. Reduced sugar to 1 1/4 cups. Increased zucchini by about 1/2 cup, and it turned out just fine. Much better to our tastebuds this way, and healthier too!
Moist and delicious! My kids and husband loved it. That hint of orange is really refreshing,
This was less than average. Lacking moisture or flavor.
I didn’t have nutmeg, used white flour and wheat flour. and sugar and brown sugar, and walnut oil, and milk chocolate chips to make mine. Yummy
I followed the recipe perfectly and I can say this is the most delicious zucchini bread I’ve ever tasted. My family LOVED it. The orange zest is brilliant. It’s not over powering but gives the bread a lovely orange essence that pairs beautifully with the chocolate chips. Try this and you’ll love it.
I will make it again.
Yummy yummy yummy! Followed the recipe subbing applesauce & butter for the oil and adding a BUNCH of zest (2 fat oranges that had no flavor). Best muffins ever & I could pretend they were healthy!
I didn’t change a thing and this bread tasted wonderful – freezing the extra loafs — I made one big pan and 2 mini loafs- — its the same recipe I have been making for 42 years ,but with the addition of toasted walnuts, choc chips and orange zest – we could taste the orange and was tasty — loved it !
i have made this bread several times for my family. i have made extra to try and freeze it but its gone before i can get it in the freezer.
Good stuff! I made two loaves, both with some modifications. Sub coconut oil for veggie oil A little more zest Only used baking powder for lack of soda (heaping tsp @ 7000ft) 3/4 cup chocolate Half an orange’s juice One of them had orange chunks (this one was a little more moist than I would serve in a restaurant, but I still maintain that it tastes better) Make this if you have tons of extra zukes and you’re hankering for the sweet stuff.
Was good, but I thought it would be better with cranberries rather. than chocolate chips.
I made a batch with regular flour and another batch with a gluten free flour blend. Both are delicious!
I Love this zucchini bread!!! I just made it useing the 1/2 cup apple sauce and 1/2 cup veg oil most people on here were recommending and it turned out perfect!!!
