Starbucks Caramel Frappuccino Copycat Recipe

  4.6 – 239 reviews

This is my take on the caramel frappuccino from Starbucks. Making it at home is simple; just blend coffee, milk, caramel sauce, and ice. More caramel sauce and whipped cream should be drizzled on top of each glass. With a straw, please.

Prep Time: 5 mins
Total Time: 5 mins
Servings: 2

Ingredients

  1. 2 cups ice
  2. 1 cup strongly brewed black coffee, cooled
  3. 1 cup low-fat milk
  4. ⅓ cup caramel sauce
  5. 3 tablespoons white sugar

Instructions

  1. Blend ice, coffee, milk, caramel sauce, and sugar together in a blender on high speed until smooth.
  2. Dotdash Meredith Food Studios
  3. Pour into two 16-ounce glasses.
  4. DOTDASH MEREDITH FOOD STUDIOS
  5. You can make strong coffee by using 2 tablespoons ground coffee beans per 1 cup water in your coffee maker.

It was very sweet and a little thin. However adding 2 tablespoons of toffee ice-cream (own brand supermarket) and taking out the sugar and toffee sauce….. that fixed it right up.

This recipe was WAY to sweet. It tasted like i was drinking straight up sugar and water, and it was too watery. Would not make again.

Absolutely delicious. Almost the same taste from the Starbucks.

The recipe was easy to make and turned out delicious. I used almond milk instead of low-fat, and it still turned out great. I also used Torani syrup instead of sugar. Would make again!

Bit watery but otherwise very nice

A little too bland and watery, after all the dilution. I recommend doing half the ice, doing half & half (or maybe even heavy cream), and adding a 1/4 teaspoon of xanthan gum to thicken the frappe.

Love this! So much cheaper than Starbucks!

Delicious and just as yummy as Starbucks without the cost, inconvenience, lines and wait time. I cut the recipe in half for (1) large cup (Venti) serving but add a tsp of vanilla extract. It’s really, really good and I make it almost everyday!!!

I thought this recipe was pretty good. I thought it would be thick like a starbucks frappe, but it was more liquidity. I still thought it tasted good. I added a couple more ice cubes and and served it over ice with a caramel drizzle.

Really good, will definitely be making more.

Turned out amazing! The only thing I would change is putting more caramel. Made this for my 12 kids and they loved it! I will never give this to my 2-year-old again they were bouncing off the walls!

OK gotta tell you the mistake I made, but turned out really good. So I was in the grocery store looking for instant coffee, so I can make this quickly in the morning. I went to grab the regular coffee, but I actually grabbed coffee with cinnamon flavor in it. So followed this recipe and when I went to taste it. It had a cinnamon flavor on top of the caramel flavor. It was really good lol. I looked at the coffee and there it was cinnamon lol ‍♀️. I will try it with regular coffee, but for now I like it with the added flavor. Also I would use less ice for this recipe maybe 1 cup instead of 2, but it was still really good.

it’s delicious I wouldn’t change anything

The frap looks like it could’ve been good but the recipe made it to bubbly so I couldn’t even taste the coffee it was just bubbles

It was great but I think it needed 4 cups of ice because it was very watery with only 2. Overall pretty good!

i loved this! all of it is perfect, but one thing, to make it sweeter i would suggest putting in a lil bit of maple syrup
