Yum!! I did cut the shrimps in half before cooking as this makes a lot of sauce. Might even add another half pound of shrimps to make more shrimpy . Used Tony Chachere’s as the cajun spice and not too spicy. Family loved it!!
Loved it!!!!
Next time I make this I will reduce the Cajun seasoning…way too salty
Used half the amount of cajun seasoning was great
It was delicious!
My husband loves this! I love it because it is so easy to make.
I made this dish adding a little cumin, broccoli, and chili powder. It was delicious, every bite. I forgot the lemon juice by accident, but either way it came out perfectly.
I was not a fan of the al dente noodles, so the next time I make this I will fully cook the noodles. The sauce was fantastic and it thicken really well. It was also my first time I used flour in a meal and was pleased with how it came out. Thank you so much for posting this recipe.
It was easy and quick. The kids enjoyed and husband loved it.
I added crawfish & Cajun sausage. Heavy whipping cream. No complaints from my fiancé. I made it a little spicier than planned. But good
Needs way less Cajun! Way too spicy!
Great recipe! I don’t use quite as much flour because it makes the sauce a little thicker than I like. I also add crushed red pepper because I like it a little spicier.
Delicious and easy! Next time I may even add a little more cajun seasoning
We add a little franks into it and used chicken instead
I thought it was too thick after adding the flour and 2 tablespoons of seasoning to it so i added about 2 Tablespoons more of butter. Delicious! Will definitely make again
IT WAS DELICOUS. MY FAMILY LOVED IT. VERY EASY
Used bow tie pasta Andy omitted lemon juice…. personal preference…. delicious
I’m pregnant and was seriously craving alfredo but had barely any of the ingredients and didn’t want to leave home. I came across this recipe and it came out GREAT!!!! never used milk and butter before but it worked perfect!
I really liked this a lot and it was really easy to put together. Like many others, there were changes I made that for me enhanced it. 8oz of fresh mushrooms sauted prior to adding the shrimp to the butter and about 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese at the end whisked in until smooth. I think that broccoli would be a nice addition the next time I cook it. Very good and simple : )
great east recipe. My husband loved it. Although I had to adapt to my own, so I added green bell pepper, red onion, bacon & chorizo.
I used 2 tsp cajun seasoning instead of what was listed, that would have been way too much, in my opinion. I also used half n half. Otherwise, very tasty!
