Tomato and Cucamelon Salsa

The ideal summery dessert is made up of two pink cake layers that have been lightly flavored with strawberry Nesquik, covered with cream cheese frosting, and filled with a firm whipped cream.

Ingredients

  1. ½ medium red onion, minced
  2. 3 tablespoons lime juice
  3. 1 ½ cups finely chopped cherry tomatoes
  4. ½ cup cucamelons, thinly sliced
  5. 1 green chile pepper, seeded and minced
  6. ¼ teaspoon chile powder
  7. 1 pinch salt
  8. 2 teaspoons light brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine onion and lime juice in a bowl and marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Add tomatoes, cucamelons, chile pepper, chile powder, and salt to the bowl. Toss. Taste and add sugar. Chill until serving.
