This bacon and egg-inspired morning fried rice is delicious! This is a simple and delicious brunch alternative that my father used to make for me on Saturday mornings when I was a child. If preferred, you can swap out one bunch of frozen peas for a bunch of broccoli.

This is a great appetizer! I bought Amazon Amish Valley pepper JAM. Good with an onion cracker.
I always make this for Thanksgiving/Christmas and everyone loves it. I use various flavors of pepper jelly. The only thing is that all the jelly slips off the cream cheese and puddles around it! Doesn’t look very good, but thankfully it doesn’t stop anyone from eating it. Does anyone out there have a solution for me to try?
This is a super easy appetizer that people love. I use my own pepper jelly I make from scratch with peppers from my garden. The cream cheese is perfect for balancing out the pepper jelly.
What an easy appetizer! I used locally made pepper jelly with some serious kick. The cream cheese balanced it out beautifully. Put a few fancy crackers around the bowl, and voila!
Simple! Super! Made this countless times. Trader Joe’s has a good pepper jelly for this. FYI: I tried blending the jelly and cream cheese together once (like in a food processor) and we think it’s much better without blending it. The flavor contrast is awesome when not mixed, allowing for a spike of sweet against the tang of the cream cheese. If you mix it, looses lose that contrast and becomes more homogeneously sweet. Whole family who loves this treat agrees—Don’t blend it and you will love it. Nothing better than something this easy and so delicious. Give it a shot…takes no time.

Absolutely yumm!
One of my favorite go-to appetizers – especially during the Christmas season (w/red & green pepper jelly).
I poured it over a goat cheese block instead. Very tasty!
These recipes vary slightly, but all are pretty much the same. If you want a different taste, try adding a slice of good pepperoni on the cracker with the cream cheese and jelly. Yum!
Not so pretty, a little messy but oh so tasty! Did not pair well with Ritz crackers (too crumbly) but any other firm cracker would have been fine.
Never have leftovers.
I made this for a small baby shower, and everyone loved it! They were all taking pictures and asking for the recipe! I think mixing in some herbs or seasoning to the cream cheese would add some good flavor.
I love this and use it every time I need party food. I serve with Wheat Thins but have used other crackers, too. I have also used Raspberry Jalapeno instead of Red Pepper jelly. Yum!
So easy and ridiculously delicious! Serve with the thin pepper water crackers.
it was simple and delicious !
A easy hit every time. This combo works well with almost any cracker or phyllo dough.
Make it for gatherings
Always a hit!
I made this for girls night we were having to set our goals for the new year, I did not taste it myself but everyone loved it and it was one of the first appetizers to be finish. I will make it again for other event, it’s very simple, I also purchase hot spicy jelly I could not find mild and it was still great according to everyone.
