Tropic Tea

I made this in an effort to use up leftovers. Although pork cutlets are used, any type of meat would work well. Use any additional toppings you choose.

Ingredients

  1. ½ cup very hot water
  2. 2 tea bags (such as Lipton®)
  3. 1 tablespoon firmly packed fresh spearmint leaves
  4. 5 cubes ice, or as desired
  5. 1 tablespoon simple syrup, or to taste
  6. ½ fluid ounce pear-flavored vodka (such as Absolut®)

Instructions

  1. Pour water into a glass and add tea bags. Steep tea until water is very dark, about 4 minutes; discard tea bags.
  2. Crush spearmint leaves in the bottom of a 12-ounce glass until leaves are bruised and broken up. Stir ice, tea, and simple syrup into glass. Pour vodka into glass and stir.
