Very Easy Fruit Salad

  4.5 – 110 reviews  • Strawberry Salad Recipes

Simple, slow-cooked, real spaghetti sauce with the same quality as what restaurants provide is what this secret ingredient is! Baking soda is the main ingredient. Wait a little time before tasting the sauce; if you do, you won’t be disappointed. Although it tastes wonderful immediately off the burner, the flavors will mix over night. The meatballs in your favorite sauce should simmer for the final half-hour before serving. After eating, get ready for a nap.

Wow! I would have never thought to use pie filling. Awesome in this for salad. Made as written and would make again.

I did not care for this. The peach pie filling ruined it for me. I even tried taking the peaches out and rinsing the filing off of the remaining fruit, but it still did not taste good. I will stick to fresh fruit only.

Omg this stuff is good. Looks too good to eat. I rarely eat fruit but this is going to go quickly.

Always my family’s favorite fruit salad.

It is quick and convenient to prepare. My only change was to add some blueberries to the mix. The gooey, slimy peach pie filling ruins this recipe. If I try it again I will substitute peaches in light syrup or pineapple chunks.

One of the best (and easiest) fruit salad recipes I ever tried!

I made this recipe based on all the great reviews….unfortunately, I felt like I wasted my bowl of delicious fruit once I mixed in the peach pie filling. The fruit was perfect before the thick syrup from the pie filling was added. Nobody ate it… What a disappointment.

Delicious and fairly easy to make. Good for family get-togethers.

This fruit salad is perfect- easy to put together- and the peach pie filling adds just the right amount of added sweetness and “dressing” to the rest of the fruit. It is our family’s go to fruit salad now!

Great simple salad! At the suggestion of another viewer I used 1/2 small jar of peach preserves instead of pie filling. It was perfect and pretty. I used grapes, strawberries, blueberries and cut up small sections of 2 fresh navel oranges. Mixed the preserves until everything was moistened. Simple and beautiful.

This is great as is, but you could do so many substitutions.

I needed a quick and easy fruit salad, and this did the trick. I used frozen fruits, and on the advice of other commenters I used less than the full can of pie filling. Quite tasty, will make again.

Recipe perfect as is. Delicious!

I really like this recipe–the pie filling helps to preserve the fruit so that I can keep it longer. Would like to make with a lower cal filling but couldn’t find so might make my own from scratch.
