Where I grew up, deep-fried Oreos were a carnival staple. Yummy! Oreos are dipped in pancake batter and fried. This is possible both with and without a deep fryer.

Ingredients
- 2 quarts vegetable oil for frying
- 1 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 1 cup pancake mix
- 1 (18 ounce) package cream-filled chocolate sandwich cookies (such as Oreo®)
Instructions
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large saucepan to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Whisk milk, egg, and 2 teaspoons of vegetable oil in a large bowl until smooth. Stir in the pancake mix until no dry lumps remain.
- Dip cookies into batter, one at a time, and carefully place into hot oil. Fry in batches, 4 or 5 at a time, until cookies are golden brown, about 2 minutes. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate before serving.
- We have determined the nutritional value of oil for frying based on a retention value of 10% after cooking. Amount will vary depending on cooking time and temperature, ingredient density, and specific type of oil used.

We made them with a homemade buttermilk pancake recipe using Presto flour and used birthday cake Oreos. Omg! They were out of this world.
I have been wanting to make these forever! Now I can!!!
Loved the recipe it was easy to make and I like that the writer decided to let us know that chilling the Oreos and batter first were a better option then to not! This was a easy⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ recipe
This recipe is amazing I love making these with my little cousins. The taste of it was so fluffy and delicious. It is kinda hard to get them perfect but they still end up so yummy!
It was absolutely perfect but, I had to add alot more pancake mix so it would be thicker and stay on the oreo!!.
Oh my god!!! These where so good.
These were awesome. I sprinkled them with powder sugar. Yummy.
Absolutely delicious! Made a batch of these with my boyfriend and not a single one was left on the plate! We loved them! They turned out perfectly.
mmmmm so good you should try it with your kids there gonna love it 😉
it is so good and it has a nice flaver and delishish.
i loved it its so good
My daughter and I tried this recipe. It was way to liquidity so I ended up adding a lot more pancake mix. I don’t know how anyone could go by this recipe and actually have any batter stick.
Good
It was amazing experience. I Had tried with Crumbs carnival Deep fried Oreos mixture. Which made the recipes easier You must need to try it
So good! I’ll never have to pay $12 for six cookies again in my life. Thanks for the recipe!
good
I added vanilla extra and I totally should have done it on low
Batter is to soupy. Does not stick to the cookie at all. I had to add a lot more pancake mix to even get it to stick to the cookie.
Not sure exactly how much more I added but following the recipe the batter was too thin, so I ended up adding more Bisquik and it worked out
I make these all the time only thing is I use only pancake mix and I sprinkle with powdered sugar and they’re still delicious only while hot too lol
Just made these with my daughters aged 10, 4, &2. They were a total hit! They love helping me bake, steps were so easy and simple all of them got to help out. Their favorite part was covering them in the mix, all I did was the frying. I agree with the rest of the comments, these are good for right after eating while they’re warm and crunchy with a glass of milk. Once they’ve sat and cooled down they’re complete mush. Will be making more tomorrow per my eldests request.
