I combined a few other recipes and added a few ingredients to make this. It’s delicious, according to my buddies, and it tastes fantastic on chipotle tostadas.

Too heavy handed on the nutmeg for us and missing the allspice and bit of ginger of traditional apple pie spice blend. But so many have different taste preferences that most recipes are more guidelines than actual rules. By just using a traditional blend of apple pie spices and brown sugar in place of white granulated made it perfect for us.
My family enjoyed this recipe, but next time I would use less nutmeg.
Hi I made this pie with my five-year-old granddaughter Evie for Father’s Day. It was her first pie. It turned out really cute and was delicious. Your Daddy and her PaPa really liked it.
