Washington Apple Cocktail

I looked everywhere for a recipe for the coconut syrup I loved in Hawaii. I felt obliged to come up with my own recipe since every one I tried left me unsatisfied.

Ingredients

  1. 2 fluid ounces whiskey
  2. 1 ½ fluid ounces cranberry juice
  3. 1 fluid ounce sour apple schnapps (such as DeKuyper® Sour Apple Pucker)
  4. 1 teaspoon agave nectar
  5. ice cubes as needed
  6. 2 apple slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine whiskey, cranberry juice, apple schnapps, and agave in a cocktail shaker. Fill cocktail shaker with ice and shake well.
  2. Strain into frosted martini glasses and garnish with an apple slice.
  3. You can use Bourbon instead of whiskey.
