Old Bay-Seasoned Steamed Shrimp

Deliciously mild lemon flavor. You may also try dividing the cake batter among several mini cakes by placing it in big muffin tins; just shorten the baking time. While the cake is still a little warm, let it cool before icing or glazing.

I loved this recipe as it was my 1st time making my own Old Bay Steamed Shrimp! I did 1 cup of water and added a 3/4 cup of white vinegar than tripled up on the Old Bay Seasoning since I had more than a pound of shrimp! Turned out better than some of the store bought Steamed shrimp I’ve tried. I also added more Old Bay after I cooked and drained them cuz I like them spicy!

Quick, easy and very tasty

Very tasty and flavorful shrimp! Mine were perfectly cooked at 3 minutes. I only had shelled shrimp on hand, so that’s what I used, and it still worked out well. 2 tablespoons seems like a lot of seasoning, but it works!

This is one of my favorite recipes because it is super fast and delicious and seafood!

I did not have white vinegar so I substituted apple cider vinegar. The additional ingredients I added were 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder and 1/8 teaspoon of yellow mustard seed. This came out very delicious.

Add 3/4 of a beer after 32 oz of water is boiling. I put one Sweet onion with a lot of Old Bay.

it’s flavorless.

Just used bottled water instead of seltzer water. Very good. Sprinkled little more old bay on them once they were out of the pot.

My only change was to replace the water with a bottle of lager beer. Easy peasy & terrific!

A great and easy dish for shrimp lover. Makes a great meal with a garden salad.
