This Tiktok craze is one that I can truly support because it’s so quick, simple, and the outcome is wonderful. Condensed milk transforms this into a more conventional no-churn ice cream, only just a nicely packaged single (or double) serving of it, in contrast to the Tiktoks that just utilize cream and shake it by hand. Rich, creamy, and silky are the outcomes. and completely enticing.

Ingredients

  1. 4 cups all-purpose flour
  2. 2 cups very soft butter
  3. 3 ½ cups chopped pecans
  4. ¼ cup confectioners’ sugar
  5. 1 cup confectioners’ sugar for rolling

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. Mash together the flour, butter, pecans, and 1/4 cup of confectioners’ sugar in a bowl until the mixture is thoroughly combined and forms a soft dough. Pinch off about 2 teaspoons of dough per cookie, and roll into 3/4-inch balls. Place the balls on ungreased cookie sheets.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven until the bottoms of the cookies are lightly golden brown but the tops are still pale, 8 to 12 minutes.
  4. Let the cookies cool completely, then roll in remaining confectioners’ sugar.

First I made according to recipe, only I used 1/2 cup poedered sugar, but I still thought they were rather unsweetened &floury tasting. Second time I made them, I used the pound of softened butter and 1/2 cup of granulated sugar, I whipped butter and sugar until light and fluffy, added pecans and flour. MUCH more tender and tasty

I love these cookies. If you can’t eat nuts, you can get a simular flavor using maple flavoring instead of nuts.

Disappointed. These cookies crumbled too easily. I lost at least 60% before every being able to serve them. Also, need to be careful with the size. Make sure the balls are no bigger than a quarter or they taste too floury.

These were a huge hit. Yes they are nutty and buttery. So if that doesn’t suit you these are not for you! 🙂 I also rolled them in confec. sugar about 2 – 3 minutes out of the oven. This made the sugar melt onto the cookie which made them sweeter. Very good.

yummmmmy. This recipe is so simple and so delicious. My 4 year old made them with me and they came out perfect. I halved the recipe since I thought that 90 seemed like a lot but I was wrong. They are pop in your mouth good and were a huge hit for all ages. Loved using only 4 ingredients.
