This cheese braid is incredibly easy to make and delicious. Serve as an appetizing starter or with spaghetti for dinner. wonderful either by itself or dipped in pizza sauce.

Ingredients

  1. 1 ½ cups blanched almond flour
  2. 1 ½ cups confectioners’ sugar
  3. 2 teaspoons almond extract
  4. 1 teaspoon rose water
  5. 1 egg white

Instructions

  1. Combine almond flour and confectioners’ sugar in a food processor; pulse until evenly mixed. Add almond extract and rose water; process until combined. Add egg white; process until a thick dough forms.
  2. Wrap dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate until firm.

These were so simple to make and taste like what you would buy in a store. The only change I made was to add a little water (maybe 1-2 Tbsp) in place of the egg white, until it was moist enough to form a dough. They shaped into balls easily, even without refrigeration, and I melted some chocolate for dipping. Thank you for a great recipe!
