  4. 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  5. 10 eggs
  6. 1 cup half-and-half cream
  7. ½ teaspoon onion powder

  5. Sprinkle cheese into center of the pie plate.
  6. Arrange breakfast sausage around the edge of the pie plate at a slight angle; using cheese to help hold up the links.
  7. In a bowl, combine the eggs, cream, onion powder, salt and pepper; pour into pie plate.
  8. Arrange tomato slices on top of quiche; sprinkle with chives.
  9. Cover sausage at edge of quiche with foil to prevent overbrowning.

  11. For even easier preparation, use Johnsonville(R) Fully Cooked Breakfast Links and omit step 2.

as a quiche lover, this looks absolutely horrible. my tastebuds just threatened to go on strike if I spent one more second considering this recipe. Does Johnsonville (apparently an endorsed sponsor here) hire “chefs” to come up with these concoctions and drop them all here to see what sticks? Please, Allrecipes, stop with the sponsored recipes of the day, and stick to ones that have already rated favorably.
