Fresh basil, lime, and ginger are combined with spiralized zucchini noodles to make a simple and energizing side dish. I skewer cooked chicken and pineapple with these.

I did not make this exactly as written… as a few others mentioned, I substituted Cream of Mushroom soup instead of celery and broccoli instead of peas. It was very good even with those changes. I did add melted butter/bread crumb topping along with the crushed onions on top. I didn’t use all of the onions recommended as a few others said it was too much. I wished I had used the full amount as I could hardly taste them, so I guess it depends whether you like onions or not. I wasn’t sure if I’d actually like this, but I did go back for seconds, as did others. 🙂 It is pretty good and super filling!
I did not have cream of celery soup on hand so I used creamed corn the taste is yummy before I even cooked it.
Very good. Did not taste the celery. Will add 1-2 chopped stalks next time.
This was so easy to make and the flavors were amazing! Because the ham and the fried onions on top are salty, it was a fine line between just right and overly salted. Ours came out just right, but I didn’t add the salt as the recipe suggested. Will be adding this to our families go-to recipes
I had very few ingredients to make a great recipe and found this online. I used cream of mushroom soup and skipped the veggie because I didn’t have any on hand. It was so simple to make and delicious!! I didn’t use all the ham it required because I decided to save some for an omelette. Wonderful dish!! Will do it again with the veggie.
The recipe is delicious! It really is comfort food. I had to omit onion salt and the French fried onions because I didn’t have those ingredients. I imagine the FF onions really make it even more delicious.
Currently eating this for dinner and it’s very boring
This was the absolute best casserole I’ve ever made with leftover ham. It tastes completely different, and the peas and cheese make it just wonderful. I was out of macaroni, so used regular egg noodles-a fine substitute. And those onions on top-so tasty!
Very good! Didn’t have an onion so I used green onion. Also added Parmesan cheese!
I used Cream of chicken, broccoli, and added ranch and this was absolutely delicious.
nice way to use leftovers and very versatile. you can easily change up this recipe a bit to fit what you have on hand.
This turned out quite well. Basically glorified Mac n cheese with ham and peas, not that that is a bad thing! I will use less fried onions on top as 6 oz. seemed a bit much. My husband loved it and went back for seconds. Twice!
This a great way to have leftover Christmas ham. Any kind of pasta works well
Disappointed. The onions were too overwhelming and the rest of the casserole was bland.
Delicious! I had to use cream of chicken soup because I couldn’t find cream of celery and I doubled the amount of ham to use up what I had.
I used the last of my Easter ham and it turned out better than I thought it would. I usually stay away from recipes that call for canned soup. I will definitely make this again the next time I have leftover ham.
I used 2 cups of ham instead of just 1 cup. It definitely need salt and pepper when you mix all of the ingredients. It was a nice casserole and good use of leftover ham
easy and delish
Very easy recipe that tastes really good. Didn’t use peas though. Put in only 1/2C diced onion because of French fried onions also in recipe. Makes plenty. Will make again.
Very good, easy enough. Followed the recipe very closely except I used the whole 12 oz pack of cubed ham rather than the rec’d 8 oz. Daughters loved it and plenty for left overs! Thank you!
Most of my family liked this. I followed the recipe, except I used frozen broccoli and I played around with quantities. I added 2 cups of ham, the whole package of frozen broccoli 3/4 cup sour cream, and 1 1/4 cup milk. I also sprinkled cheese on the top when I added the french fried onions. I also added a little salt and it could have used a little more. Pepper would be a good addition as well as Parmesan cheese, I’ll try those next time.
