Ingredients
- ½ cup maple syrup
- ⅓ cup coconut oil, melted
- 4 cups old-fashioned oats, or more to taste
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- ½ cup almond flour
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
- Mix maple syrup and coconut oil together in a bowl; add oats, pecans, and almond flour and mix until evenly coated. Spread onto a baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven until lightly browned, about 40 minutes.
- Any combination of nuts can be used in place of the pecans. Flax meal can be used in place of almond flour.

So easy and so good, I make this at least once a week. Easy to adapt (I used rice flour instead of almond flour) and comes out nice n crunchy. Definitely a keeper.

Make sure to use real maple syrup and a pinch of salt goes a lot way. I used a combo of pecans and walnuts. Love that is just a little sweet and the coconut oil adds nice flavor.

Super easy recipe. I added 1/2 cup currents and subbed 1/2 cup each of almonds, walnuts and sunflower seed for the one cup of pecans. Also used 1/2 cup flax flour for the almond flour. Came out crunchy and delicious.
This granola is good because it is so low in sugar! I use it as a starter recipe. I add cinnamon, unsweetened coconut, chia seeds or whatever else I may have on hand. I stick to low sugar by not adding the dry fruit. This is simple healthy! My grandkids love it in their yogurt.
Sorry, this was unbelievably bland, even with the addition of dried cranberries, vanilla, and cinnamon. I’ll use a different granola recipe next time.
