Big hit with my girl and all her friends at the dog park. Will definitely make again.
Dogs loved this! I used banana for the pumpkin, as we had one browned banana (no pumpkin) I mashed in the food processor. I added a tablespoon more peanut butter, milk for the most of the water. I added toasted oats for 1/2c. of the whole wheat flour, and 1/4 tsp chia seed for nutrients it brings. Highly adaptable recipe, will refer to again and again! Thank you for posting it.
Big hit! I too, used a cup of pumpkin…. he loves them
Great easy recipe and my little fur-baby Roxy absolutely loves them! Thank you
These treats were a big hit with my dogs. I added an extra cup of wheat flour, and one little container of unsweetened applesauce, along with about 4 tablespoons of organic milled, flax and Chia blend for extra nutrition, and then put them in little molds and baked them that way.
My GR absolutely loves these. They are high value to him. Now I want to try making them with chickpea flour for my friend’s OES
I’m made these for the first time a week ago & my dog loves them. So quick & easy to make. I made another batch using pumpkin & sweet potato so yummy.
I made a double batch of these the other day — very simple and easy. My dog likes them, certainly. HOWEVER … I ate a few of them myself and was surprised that neither the pumpkin nor the peanut butter flavors are detectable — which I thought was the whole point. Next time I make them (and I will) I’m going to *triple* the amount of peanut butter *and* pumpkin. —– Just made a second double batch. Like a dingdong I used an insulated baking sheet … need to bake for an hour if you use one. Tip: put the rolled out dough directly onto the baking sheet and then score it with a knife into 3/4″ x 3/4″ squares. A pizza cutter would work very well for this. It’ll save you several minutes of transferring the squares from one place to another.
I didn’t have pumpkin so I used a boiled sweet potato instead a whole cup of sweet potato, my dog can’t eat any commercial food so I was glad to find this. They turned out great, a happy husky thanks you!
Full on Turner and Hoche druel on the floor from my Mastiff I’ve only seen that with human food, and maybe beef jerky style dog treats major success Great recipe thanks, if you have muiltiple fur babies you may want to separate them just in case they may fight over them
These came out so good, my doggies loved them they couldn’t get enough❤️❤️ The treats came out a perfect dog biscuit texture, not chewy/soft at all. Such a fun recipe
Great recipe I left out the eggs and added extra pumpkin turned out great
Very good recipe but some dogs can have bad reaction to cinnamon
Great recipe. I keep out enough treats to last a week and freeze the rest. They freeze well, as do all baked dog treats I’ve made over the years. I only give my Schnoodle home made treats because I’m not a fan of preservatives and artificial ingredients. My dog, Henry, has no complaints.
Super easy and tasty for my dogs. They really liked them!
These are exceptionally good. Our two shih-tzus love them. We are happy to be adding pumpkin to their diet. Our friend makes them for us and for best results she lowers the temp after baking to 170 so they can dry out for a couple of hours.
These dog biscuits were very yummy but were very sticky and required extra flour. I added another cup of flour and kneaded it with my hands, which seemed to help. Only required 30 mins. of baking time. I sprinkled some cinnamon on top for extra flair, and an additional pinch of salt. Came out of the oven smelling delicious!! My dog was ecstatic. Thanks for sharing this recipe!!
So easy to make and my dog loves them. I’ve made them twice already and will continue to make them. The cost savings is huge compared to store bought! Thank you for sharing your recipe!
This is a great recipe, our dogs love them! To avoid spoilage, make sure they cool completely, then store in a cool place!
They are perfect just perfect
Easy and my dog loves them. I added a full cup of pumpkin the second time I made them and the dough was so much easier to roll out. No need to add water.
