Easy and awesome.
I made this as suggested for a large Christmas party — with the exception of adding some allspice. I used Bacardi Black rum. It was a HUGE hit and will be a tradition for years to come. I had cinnamon sticks, anise stars because they’re pretty in the drink, whipped cream and nutmeg to sprinkle on top — just a serve yourself bar set up. I thought nearly zero actual rum taste, just an amazing blend of flavors. SO good.
Made this and brought it for Christmas Eve. It was a HUGE hit with comments such as “this would be perfect after a day of skiing or snowboarding”, and “I cant wait to make this”. I didnt change a thing, and really really happy with it.
This was excellent. Much better that what my father made years ago.
I made a half batch with Bacardi Black rum. This will become a party favorite!
