Holiday Snowball Cookies

My kids adore these moist, tasty, and lighter than ground beef turkey burgers with bacon and mushrooms. Enjoy! Serve with your preferred condiments on the bun of your choice.

Ingredients

  1. 1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
  2. ¾ cup powdered sugar, divided, or more as needed
  3. ¼ cup fat-free sour cream
  4. 2 tablespoons fat-free milk
  5. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  6. 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  7. ½ teaspoon salt
  8. 1 pinch ground cinnamon
  9. 1 cup chopped walnuts
  10. 2 tablespoons sour cream, or more to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream butter, powdered sugar, sour cream, milk, and vanilla in a bowl. Add flour, salt, and cinnamon; mix well. Mix in walnuts. Roll into 1-inch balls and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 18 to 20 minutes.
  4. Remove from the oven and immediately roll balls in remaining powdered sugar to coat.
