Air-Fried Cajun Polenta Fries

  5.0 – 1 reviews  • Polenta Recipes

These crispy polenta fries only require pre-made polenta, Cajun seasoning, olive oil, and a little salt. They taste fantastic warm out of the oven but are equally delicious cold. Polenta fries have fewer carbohydrates than potato-based fries, making them a healthier option. Serve with your choice of dipping sauce, such as a basic aioli or ketchup.

Ingredients

  1. 2 tablespoons olive oil
  2. ½ teaspoon Cajun seasoning

  4. salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat an air fryer to 356 degrees F (180 degrees C).
  2. Combine oil and Cajun seasoning in a small bowl. Brush seasoned oil onto the polenta wedges with a pastry brush. Sprinkle lightly with salt. Place the wedges into the bowl of the air fryer, overlapping slightly if needed.
  3. Cook in the preheated air fryer for 10 minutes. Flip carefully with a silicone spatula. Cook, shaking basket occasionally and using spatula if wedges stick, until crispy, 15 to 20 minutes more.

Delicious. Followed the recipe exactly. My husband loved them. The less oil, the crispier. Made the whole loaf of polenta in two batches, tossed the first in for a minute at the end of the second batch’s cooking. Will make again- May try different seasonings.
