My husband and son loved this. I doubled the gravy ingredients. I used 1 1/2 lb. thinly sliced sirloin, sliced against the grain to keep it tender. I sautéed the sirloin in a tablespoon of olive oil. Doubled the minced garlic, and added some salt and pepper to taste. Easy to make and yummy.
This is easy and very tasty not to salty like other recipes.
Im not a very good cook to begin with but this recipe was pretty easy I did modify it though by adding a teaspoon of salt, 1 extra tablespoon of soy sauce, a tablespoon of rice vinegar, about a teaspoon of sesame seed, a teaspoon of black sesame seeds, some thinly sliced carrots and some green onions. Didn’t get to have it with the ginger root because I forgot it at the store but all In all it was tasty. I will be making it again. Thanks.
Added shallots. Used brown sugar.
Just as good as when I order out. No special ingredients and really easy and quick to fix.
The meat is very tough. It needs to be marinated with beer or wine or use a different cut of meat, I would try sirloin.
It didn’t really taste oriental, it had more of a beef gravy taste? I will try it again as it was still good just not what I was expecting.
I made this recipe, and it was amazing. It tastes better than the restaurant. I used frozen broccoli, boiled it a little bit before adding it to the wok. It turned out great. I had white rice on the side.
Add more soy sauce.
I have ground beef to use up so I used it instead of steak. I didn’t have enough broccoli so I added cauliflower for the difference. I also threw in half a cup quick cook spaghetti to add a little body (didn’t have any rice). It did take longer than fifteen minutes to cook. This has a very tasty flavor. We cleaned up the entire meal because everyone had seconds.
OH WOW!! This is so good!! My son and I made this on his lunch hour (he works from home) it took us 20 min. no joke, from beginning to end, with white rice ….. both of our dogs loved it too …. super easy, super yummy. We will be adding this to our weekly meals.
I love this recipe. Like most, you can easily adjust for your particular taste. It tastes good as is and tastes great with a few adjustments. Easy to prepare and simple ingredients.
very good. Will make it again. Everyone liked it. Served with white rice and egg rolls.
I cut the beef up, cover it in rice wine vinegar and sugar to tenderize it for 2-3 hours. Then drained tenderize mix before putting beef into hot wok. Came out amazing. Give it a perfect acid blend.
Love that it is a quick fix meal served with rice.
It’s easy to make, but it is very bland. If I make this again I will need to overhaul it quite a bit.
This is one of our favorite dinners and SO easy to make. So special ingregiants to have on hand and better than PF Changs. PLUS it fits in our diet. Delicious and good for you!
This is my go to dish when I crave Chinese food. Now I can have it any time I crave it. Easy to follow instructions and it tasted great.
Liked the recipe. I used cornstarch in lieu of flour (3 TBLS). I grated the ginger and garlic and added finely chopped green onion. Sauteed the meat in small batches and removed from pan, then added garlic et al to cook, then added back beef, sauce and broccoli. Gave it a richer flavor. Easy recipe and quick. 45 minutes start to finish. Served over Jasmine rice. My kids ate the whole wok.
It was good as written. It prepped and cooked up quickly, I spent the most time cutting the beef.
I made this exactly as written. The sauce is savory/sweet and just the right consistency. Can’t wait to make it again.
