Followed recipe exactly – flavour was good but dressing was way too runny for us. If I make this again, I would cut cukes thicker and cut ingredients to half and less vinegar.

The only change I made was to use white balsamic vinegar and omit the sugar. I used one English cucumber which was thin and 3/4 of a stalk of celery. Excellent.
Joy Campbell
I used all sour cream. Loved it.

This was a good starting point. I left out the sour cream and vinegar. I used the juice of one whole lime, one whole cucumber, 2 stalks of celery, and 1/4 of a white onion. Also halved the dill (dried). Husband loved this so much he requested it again the following day. Ty for the beginning of something awesome

Much Nicer than I expected. I was a little short on cucumber, mine weren’t that large. The sauce was good, with half the sugar.

Only giving it 4 starts because of the changes needed as recommended by other people. But, it tastes great!! Will definitely make again. You definitely need to use 1 or 2 cucumbers and 1 whole stalk of celery for all the dressing it makes. I also think it has too much sugar. I would use 1 teaspoon of sugar next time. I don’t like to taste the sugar in a dressing with dill. I also used fresh dill which requires much more than 1 t. of dill. Addendum: I was wrong. The recipe does need the 2 t. of sugar. It just needs to marinate a while before eating. Delicious!

This is a good go to creamy cucumber salad. It still has plenty of vinegar which I like. I used celery salt instead of celery as I didn’t have celery available and I added dill and crushed red pepper to it. I didn’t use sugar as I’m diabetic. It came out great.

This recipe has too much vinegar for me.

Turned out great, followed the recipe as is other then using two cucumbers. The guests loved it and I’ve already made a second batch for my lunches..

This was excellent! Kind of “sour cream and onion” or “ranch” flavored. I did make a few small changes. I omitted the celery and onions as my kids and husband won’t eat those. I doubled the mixture and used about 3 cucumbers (peeled). I did not slice them super thin like the recipe says but rather “normal” size slices (again fam doesn’t care for thin, too floppy). In place of 4 tbsp of mayo, i used 2 tbsp mayo and 3 tbsp miracle whip. Ended up using about 1/4c sugar. I used onion powder to taste and fresh dill. Very creamy and delicious and was ready to eat rather quickly. I expected to have to wait several hours but by the time i was done cooking dinner i was able to serve these as a side dish. Will definitely be making these regularly!

I didn’t make any changes but the next time I make it, I will add more lime juice. We could hardly taste the lime.

4 stars because way too much dressing; you can at least double the cucumber. Great flavor though. I added extra dill and Will definitely make again! The mayo makes it thicker but also tastes great without for less fat/calories.

Very tasty! I used a whole cucumber & we will put it over green salad, we don’t want to waste any dressing

Gorgeous to serve – delicious to eat. Great basic recipe! Even better with a few additions: I added more cucumbers plus grape tomatoes, quartered. So colorful! Garbanzo beans made the dish more substantial and gave it additional texture that took it to the next level. I had no lime so used lemon & loved it. Besides the dill weed, I seasoned with a bit of basil, summer savory, & Beau monde. Delectable flavor. Next time I may add some feta cheese. Thanks a million for this one! Definite winner!

It was okay. A bit bland and too runny for our liking. I wouldn’t make it again.

This salad is awesome! I used rice vinegar, and Pampered Chef Dill Mix. I did not use yogurt as I didn’t have any.
Elizabeth Sanders
this was great! I added garbanzo beans and red peppers. Will make again

I also used more cucumbers and it turned out well. The family enjoyed something different. My wife suggested adding tomatoes….next time.
Ashley Ramirez
I made this per the recipe. It was very good. I may tweak it a little with a little more vinegar the next time
Cheryl Nunez
Great !!! I made an even healthier version using 3/4 cup of Greek yogurt instead of sour cream and plain yogurt. It came out creamy and delicious
Peggy Stone
I cut back on vinegar, and used only sour cream and mayo. It seemed a bit mild for my taste, but it was good. A great dish for a potluck get together.
