Ingredients
- 6 (1-inch thick) boneless pork chops
- 1 tablespoon adobo seasoning
- 1 (.18 ounce) packet sazon seasoning
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ⅓ teaspoon ground black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons Italian dressing, divided
- 1 ½ cups water
- ¼ cup margarine
- 6 (6 ounce) packages dry stuffing mix (such as Stove Top®)
- toothpicks
- 1 tablespoon water, or as desired
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
- Place pork chops in a large bowl and season all sides with adobo seasoning, Sazón seasoning, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt; add 2 tablespoons Italian dressing and flip to coat.
- Bring 1 1/2 cups water and margarine to a boil in a saucepan; add stuffing mix and cover. Remove saucepan from heat and set aside until stuffing absorbs water, about 5 minutes; fluff with a fork.
- Remove pork chops from the bowl, reserving liquid and seasonings. Lay each pork chop flat on a cutting board and with a sharp knife held parallel to the board, cut a pocket into the pork, leaving three sides intact. Stuff each pork chop with stuffing and close the pocket using a toothpick.
- Arrange pork chops on a baking sheet. Mix remaining 1 tablespoon Italian dressing and 1 tablespoon water with reserved juices from pork chops; pour over pork chops.
- Bake in the preheated oven until pork chops are cooked through, 25 to 35 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).
- The nutrition data for this recipe includes the full amount of the stuffing. The actual amount of stuffing consumed will vary.

It was an easy, quick recipe and I had all the ingredients in my cupboard. I had to cook them an extra 15min. (They were really thick) Turned out perfect!
Mine came out very good and I also added some sliced mushrooms, garlic and shallots to add more flavor for my gravy. ??
Way too salty.
I did not have sazon seasoning, but otherwise followed recipe as provided. My chops were extra thick so needed to bake almost 15 mins longer than suggested. Chops were fantastic!! Highly recommend.
I nearly passed this recipe by when I saw the calorie count of 967! I followed the recipe exactly, using Costco’s lean, 1″ thick, boneless 8 oz pork chops. The calorie count came out to under 600 cal each, using my standard calorie counter app. Will definitely make this again – hubby was so impressed, and it was easy; the pork chops so tender and flavorful.
I made this. I liked it. However, my boyfriend isn’t a big stuffing fan… but he said the flavoring was amazing. Maybe will try stuffing with something else next time.
Very yummy!
This recipe came out wonderfully! I changed the stuffing from dry stuffing to sliced mozzarella.
This was delicious.
I made this tonight for dinner, changing it up a bit. I tenderized my chops by pounding them out with meat tenderizer, coated them with Shake n Bake, covered them with Stove Top adding extra butter and chicken broth then rolled the chops up and baked in oven at 350 for 35 minutes covered then 30 minutes uncovered. Turned out tender, tasty and awe as one!
I made this recipe and of course changed it up a bit because I didn’t have the needed seasonings required in the recipe. I did use the chicken stove top stuffing mixture and added diced onion, ground sage, and celery to it. I seasoned the chops with garlic powder, onion salt, ground sage, and pepper. I stuffed the pork chops and placed them in a pan with a rack to keep them from getting soggy. I covered the chops with foil in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes, then took off the foil to brown the chops for another 20-30 minutes. They turned out delicious!
