Best Bruschetta Ever

  4.6 – 420 reviews

Making creamy, smooth yogurt at home is simple with this method for those of us who enjoy doing it ourselves! It works and tastes fantastic! Compared to store-bought, it tastes better and costs less. It may seem complicated when you read it, but all you have to do is leave it in the warm water while periodically checking the temperature. Similar to letting bread dough rise, it truly does its own work. I utilize the time to complete other household tasks. Do not be deterred; it is actually quite simple.

My neighbor made this last night and we ate it right away. It was VERY good. I’ll be making a batch today and will let it marinate in the fridge for 8 hours.

Only change I made was to add some fresh basil in addition to the dried. Excellent! This is a keeper. I used Ina Garten’s recipe for making the toasted baguette slices. It was worth the bother. Didn’t get a picture, and it is ALL GONE!! I plan to make more to put on spaghetti.

Very good! Pro-tip: Add the ingredients gradually and taste as you go. When it’s to your liking, stop and enjoy. Having said that, I thought this was tasty ans I would make this version again! Thanks for sharing. 🙂

This was tasty. I only got mine to marinate for 2 hours. Used fresh basil, omitted the parmesan and cut back oil to just a Drizzle. Serves mine on top of cream cheese baguette.

Chilling made my garden tomatoes mushy. I won’t make this again.

It is very tasty. Very liquidy, but that’s good on the bread. I blanched the tomatoes first, to remove the skin. Very easy recipe, thank you!

This was very good. I buttered and toasted the bread. Next time I would use fresh basil, add some red onion and use fresh grated parmesan. Also add some garlic to buttered bread while toasting.

Add balsamic, sub pesto for basil, and reduce parmesan

This is very good. When I made it the second time I replaced the dried basil with fresh leaves and quite a bit. Made it even better.
