I would increase the corn starch water mixture to thicken the end dish. But it was very tasty.
Love it!!!!!
I’ve never made my own honey garlic sauce from scratch, but this recipe was very easy. I didn’t have any ginger so I made it without but my husband loved it, what he didn’t know won’t hurt him & he was a chef. Much better than store bought sauce. I have a very strick meats diet which I’m allowed due to IBS & I get bored with the same foods & recipes. Don’t be afraid to try something new & make it your own with your little twists of add ins or omits. HAVE FUN.
Love this… transforming for almost any meal. I used with beef, broccoli and rice. Jarring the rest of this recipe for chicken recipes and dressing for veggie salads
I was thrilled to find a honey garlic sauce that doesn’t use ketchup! Even though I have a major sweet tooth I found this sauce to be too sweet. I added some vinegar to balance it out and it was better. I would add less sugar next time.
I made it, but made some changes to spice it up. It’s a bit sweet for liking I’ll use less sugar next time.
I used this to put over sautéed broccoli. The first time I made it, I felt it had a little too much soy sauce, so the second time I used about 1/8 cup soy and 1/8 fish sauce. So good!
So simple and easy to make, good rich flavour without being to sweet. A really good sauce!
This sauce is amazing! My whole family loved it. Can you tell me how long it can be kept. Or if it can be frozen. Yummy
I used only garlic cornstarch water brown sugar honey and butter. Came out really nice and thick!! Thanks
Love it!! I keep it in the fridge and use it as a staple to make chicken wings..bake the wings then toss in a metal bowl!! (I add a bit of hot sauce to the bowl to make a honey hot)
Really good taste, not thick enough to coat wings hence the 5 stars.
Delicious! Highly recommend trying it out.
It was very good. Made no changes
perfect sauce! I followed the recipe exactly and used it for wings. It tasted better than store bought!
This sauce does for itself thick clings well easily go on a varity of things third time making csme out perfect again
Excellent!! Much better than store bought. I did use only water as I did not have chicken broth, and it was still amazing.
Super easy and super good. I doubled the recipe and stored in Mason jars. Wicked on meat balls at a potluck.
Great sauce as is! Have made it a few times now.
this is better than anything you buy! I used it on spare ribs and poured some on rice. Delicious!
This was exactly what I was craving! I brushed it on chicken drumsticks 3 or 4 times as they were baking at 375 for an hour, and it was delish! Had lots of leftover sauce after 12 baked drumsticks, so will try to use it tomorrow.
