Orange and vanilla, two of my favorite flavors, are combined in these cupcakes. These cupcakes, which are reminiscent of an ice cream pop delight from your youth, will bring back your childhood memories.

- ¾ cup chopped onion
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 (16 ounce) cans crushed tomatoes
- 3 (6 ounce) cans tomato paste
- 1 cup water

Where is the garlic? Fresh, jarred or at least powder, you need garlic. Also a splash of red wine kicks it up a notch. IMHO.
Best spaghetti and meatballs ever ! My dad made this for my family now I get to make it for my boyfriend and friends. Great dish !!
Excellent meatballs. Cooking them in the sauce makes them really soft and makes serving them at parties easy since they stay warm. I’ve made them a couple of times now and will no doubt make them again.
The only changes I made were to replace some of the sugar with brown sugar and to replace some of the water with red wine. This recipe was fantastic.
Since I couldn’t go out to dine for my birthday decided to make this at home. Delicious!
very good recipe meatballs came out delicious
This was my first time cooking spaghetti and meatballs and it came out amazing!! I just added some red pepper flakes, extra garlic, and onion powder
I made my meatballs the night before and let them set overnight , only change I made. Turned out perfect better flavor have done it both ways.
reduce the amount of sugar by a half
The flavor was there but I overcooked mine. My girlfriend told me that I was overcooking it but the time was way off so I must have had the stove too high. It was still really good, but it would have been amazing if the burn flavor wasn’t there. Don’t overdo it, if you think it is done, it probably is.
This is my go to recipe for meatballs. I have been using it for years with only adding our traditional loads of garlic. They are moist, flavorful meatballs and sauce. MANGIA!!!
I’ve made this twice so far in the last couple of weeks. My family loves it, even my picky kids. The only change I made (because I didn’t have oregano) was adding basil in place of it, and it’s quite tasty. It’s not too much hassle, and the flavor is delicious! Up until I found this recipe, I had always made my great-grandmother’s “porcupine balls,” (meatballs with rice mixed in–also delicious), but this one is just slightly easier. Thanks for the recipe!
This was fantastic and totally revived my interest in spaghetti and meatballs. I just added a little Montreal steak seasoning to the meatballs, which may not have even been necessary.
Okay. For everyone looking for a a stupendish sweet spagetthi sauce, do not take some of these reviews seriously. Make as listed, this sauce is superb. NO Substitutions are necessary. This is a super delicious, thick sweet sauce. DO NOT alter the recipe. This one is a winner. For those people who think they need to do so, submit your own recipe.
The best meatballs and sauce I have ever made and had. I only used half the amount of sugar after the second time I made the sauce 🙂 Thank you,Jenn
These meatballs are amazing! Try them you will love them!!!
I made this tonight – it was very good. I followed the recipe exactly; I will reduce the sugar by 50% next time but otherwise it is delicious! Even my picky husband liked it.
Made this with gluten free breadcrumbs and thought it was just okay. I think it was way to sweet with that much sugar.

The sauce was very good as were the meatballs. Just delicious! The only change I’d make, is a scant less sugar, maybe 1/3 cup instead of 1/2 cup, otherwise this was quick, easy, and an instant favorite!
Way to sweet. Too much sugar. ?? Had to wash off sauce save spaghetti to not waste.
