I have made this several times and have found that the gnocchi is best if it is boiled only 2 minutes exactly, any longer than that and it gets “sticky”.

Simple and with really nice flavor.

The flavor is amazing and the recipe is so quicky and easy; however, the gnocchi was rather sticky. Is there something I can do to make it less sticky, or do I need to buy a better gnocci product?

First time making this and I loved it. I made as instructed, tasted it in the skillet, then made slight changes. I added more sage, a little sauté red onions and shredded Parmesan. Oh my stars, delicious!

Easy and quick use of normal ingredients. Needed something like parsley or red pepper flakes, plus some protein like chicken or bacon. In a pinch might make it again.

I just added some cooked chicken. YUM!

I’m going to try this cause of the simple ingredients. Plus I love anything with cheese !

Great recipe. Halved but left amount of garlic the same. The browned butter sauté-sauce was really good. Used grated parm in the sauté and served with thinly shaved Parmesan at serving time. Next time will add 1/8 tsp garlic powder and sprinkle parsley over all. Thanks for sharing this!

Very simple and loads of flavor! I’ll definitely be making this again!!

While this is a very simple dish to prepare, I thought it was ok. For some reason, it was very salty even though I added very little salt to the dish. I would recommend doubling garlic and eliminating the salt.

Wow, the PERFECT sauce for my homemade gnocchi. Rich and satisfying without feeling greasy. I’d tried another sage-butter sauce recipe using fresh sage, and this one is easier and tastier. Now I will make more gnocchi, since I have a great sauce to finish it. YUM!!!

My first time making gnocchi was a success! This was super easy, fast and delicious. My 10 year old told me it tasted like something from a ‘fancy restaurant’.

This was easy and tasty; my family enjoyed it. I used the current recipe with only 16 oz of gnocchi. So, I think you would need to increase the butter in order to cover 24 oz. I used 2 large cloves of freshly minced garlic, instead of 1.

I really wanted to like it but it was just too much for the two of us and was a very heavy dish.

Great, simple sauce. I did not use this on gnocchi but on veggie infused spaghetti noodles. I used fresh sage. Half butter, half olive oil. Since i do not care for the way parmesan melts, i did not add it into the sauce mix but rather grated it off the block right on top of the pasta. This will become a regular go to for me. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

Four stars as is, just using fresh sage. I felt it needed a bit more sage butter and that took it to 4.5. I will definitely make again using more fresh sage. It got nice and crispy in the butter. There is no substitution for fresh herbs! My gnocchi was a bit starchy and stuck together but I may have used too small a pot to boil them in. Great recipe!

I loved the simplicity of this recipe and I had everything needed! Delicious!

I sautéed some chicken breast, onion and mushrooms and mixed it in with the gnocchi and sauce and it was terrific! Will definitely make it again!

Loved it, was fast and delish. Based on other reviews saying it was lacking flavor I sauted some green onions and mushrooms and artichoke hearts before adding gnocchi.
