Simple, classic, easy to prepare and cook. I bought a pre-cooked honey roasted ham, which I think may have been why the flavoring was a bit overwhelmingly sweet at times. If I make this again, definitely going with an unflavored ham if I can find one. Left out the pineapple juice due to personal preferences and was just as good.
It was great tasted good on our ham.
This recipe is awesome, I have used it for at least the past 5 years during the holidays. My family loves it! Definitely a part of my ham arsenal.
It turned out great!
Reallllly delicious!! I added a heaping Tablespoon of MAILLE Dijon to my glaze. I used 2/3 C of Brown Sugar & used 1/3 C of SUGAR IN THE RAW. Followed the Ham weight baking instructions & added the glaze last 30 min. It was a HIT!
Very good!
Ham was very moist and I did’nt dry it out. Great recipe for Easter.
Didn’t make a change. Will definitely make it again!
The glaze was really good but the only thing I did was to let glaze cook a little more to thicken… I really don’t care for cloves so I added sliced pineapple and maraschino cherries on top of the ham and kept basting it and cut the temperature down to 325 and the ham came out perfect..I would be definitely using the recipe again.
My family agrees this is the best ham any of us have ever had!
This was great on my ham!
I love this glaze, I have made it a few times now. the only thing I would say is it takes longer than 10 minutes to thicken
I was out of OJ, so I used Clementine zest, 4 tsp cold water and 1 tsp corn starch as a substitute. I found out too late on New year’s eve that the cloves in my spice rack were ground, so a tsp of ground cloves went into the glaze! The results were fantastic!! My husband TOOK the first bites, and the first plate. Way better than my usual holiday ham.
I didn’t add the gloves but it was delicious. My guests loved it. They said, they never tasted ham like this. Happy Guest! Happy Chef!
Pretty simple to do, I didn’t use the cloves but it’s fine without them, and yes I’ll make it again
family really liked it! Didn’t know glazed had to sit a while before putting on the ham though, so it was a bit more liquidy than I would have liked. Nonetheless, thanks for the recipe!
Excellent glaze! Picky eaters loved it. Used a bit less of the sugar, a bit more of the honey. Would add more orange juice next time.
My family loved this! This was the best ham we ever had! The things I done differently was I left the cloves out and I used the single serving cans of dole pineapple/orange juice. I used 3/4 of the can mixed with honey on brown sugar heated it in microwave to melt sugar and mixed it then set in fridge overnight. I took the 1/4 can of leftover juice and another can and poured on my ham and half of the glaze and tied roasting bag when ham was finished I poured remaining glaze and cooked hame 20 minuets uncovered. Putting glaze in fridge overnight made it thicker
Easy to make, wonderful flavor. Try decorating Ham with pineapple slices and red maraschino cherries
Delish!
Amazing.! This glaze takes my ham over the top!
